Common questions
How accurate is a photo estimate?
Photo analysis estimates portion size and ingredients from what the camera can see. Cooking oil, sauces and hidden fillings are hard to detect, and lighting affects results. Treat each number as an estimate and correct any item before you save the meal.
Is MiraVita a medical device?
No. MiraVita is a general wellness tool for everyday eating habits. It does not diagnose conditions, measure blood glucose or blood pressure, or tell you to change medication or insulin. Talk to your clinician about treatment decisions.
Can I edit what the app recognized?
Yes. Tap any item to rename it, change the portion in grams, cups or pieces, or remove it. Totals recalculate immediately.
How do I cancel?
Email us from the address on your account, or cancel in account settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. See the Refund Policy for refund terms.
What happens to my meal photos?
Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. Original images are deleted after 30 days and only the nutrition data is kept. We do not sell data or share it with advertising networks.
